If you’re in the market for a new iPhone, Amazon’s Prime Day sales might be a good time to find a deal—with a few caveats.

Amazon doesn’t sell the latest iPhone in the U.S. outside of the partnership with Boost Infinite, so, if you’re in the U.S., you won’t see deals on new iPhones (only renewed/refurbished items), but there are still plenty of savings on iPhone accessories, which we will also include below.

Prime Day: How can I get the best iPhone deals?
Many items in the Amazon Prime Day Sale are only open to Prime members, so you’ll need to sign in with an active membership to purchase one of the deals. Prime memberships cost $139 / £95 / AUD$59 annually, or $14.99 / £8.99 / AUD$6.99 every month. New users can sign up for a 30-day free trial that can be canceled at any time during the trial window. You’ll also get free one or two-day delivery and access to Amazon Prime Video and all that content.
One tip when you click on a good deal—even if it’s from a Macworld page—is to check that the product isn’t redirected to a refurbished model, and the current manufacturer’s price is listed, as that can make the price drop look a lot better than it is.
In order to take advantage of some Prime Day deals, you need to be an Amazon Prime member. Amazon Prime costs $14.99 / £8.99 / AUD$6.99 on a monthly basis (but can be canceled after 30 days) and gives you two-day free delivery and access to Prime Video.
